Scope

Information and guidance is aimed at ensuring, as far as practicable:

Any injured person on a University site receives appropriate first aid quickly from informed and trained personnel.
Sufficient information, equipment and trained first aiders are available to respond effectively in the hours a building is regularly occupied - This may include time outside office hours.
For field trips, appropriate arrangements for providing first aid exist.
Everyone is aware of their responsibilities.
