Join us in the Treasures of the Brotherton Gallery and stay for ten minutes or the full three hours! The Drop in and Draw Sketch Club is free, open to everyone and all materials are provided. Use your time to hone your sketching skills, chat with fellow art appreciators or simply indulge your creativity in a calm, inspiring atmosphere.

13:05 – 13:55 | International Concert Series | In Person

Based at the stunning Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall, the Concert Series runs throughout the year, showcasing international talent and student performances.

This week, join internationally renowned York-based Chilean recorder player Carmen Troncoso and pianist Jakob Fichert for a programme of music from Europe and South America. The concert is free and doors open from 12:30pm.

19:00 – 20:00 | Staff Handball Club Open Session | In Person

Come along and meet the friendly Staff Handball Club and try your hand at a new physical activitiy.

Handball is a fast-paced team sport that’s a mix of netball, basketball and football. Two teams play each other on an indoor court with 6 outcourt players and one goalkeeper per team. The aim of the game is to score as many goals as possible. Matches are 2 x 30 minutes. It’s great fun, good for your fitness and a great opportunity to meet new people. All levels of experience are welcome, from complete beginners to already established handball enthusiasts.
