The Staff Counselling and Psychological Support Service sits strategically within Occupational Health within Wellbeing, Safety and Health, and it is professionally independent.

The Staff Counselling and Psychological Support Service is provided by professionally trained, accredited and experienced practitioners.
Any member of staff can contact the service directly to discuss any of the services, arrange an appointment for a confidential consultation, or discuss the psychological and interpersonal challenges of their role.
All consultations are by appointment only.
Our normal hours are 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Personal and professional consultation, counselling and coaching sessions take place in consulting rooms on the third floor of University House. Training events take place in Organisational Development and Professional Learning (OD&PL) training rooms, and Room 2.40 Training Room, 3rd Floor, University House, and other locations.
