12:00 – 12:15 | Lower Body Posture Session | Online
Are you struggling with your posture? Do you regularly experience aches and pains?
Join Sport and Physical Activity for a 15-minute lower body postural session which targets stiffness in your legs, often linked with desk-based jobs.
Booking is not required. Please join the Staff Posture Sessions Teams Channel in advance to access the activity.
12:30 – 13:00 | Full Body Posture Session | In Person
Join our Full Body Posture session which will include mobility and activation stretches for the common problem areas in your body linked to prolonged periods of sitting/standing. We will teach you how to stretch your 'overactive' muscles and strengthen the 'lazy ones'. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a drink of water with you.
12:00 – 14:00 | Human Library Conversations | In Person
The Human Library – run by the Unity project – is very much like a regular library where people go to check out books.The difference here is the books are all human beings – people split into pairs to talk and share life experiences. Refreshments are provided and quiet spaces to use.
Everyone is welcome! Two sessions are available to choose from: 12:00 – 13:00 or 13:00 – 14:00

12:05 – 12:45 | Wellbeing Run Club Taster | In Person
The Wellbeing Run Club meets every Tuesday at 12:05pm. Whether you've just started running or are looking for something flexible to fit around your schedule, everyone is welcome. Run Leaders will guide you through the session which is designed as an introduction or stepping stone towards perhaps taking up a regular session with the group beyond the Winter Wellbeing Week.
Please come ready changed in comfortable clothing to run in, trainers and some water.

12:30 – 13:00 | Qigong | In Person
This 30 minute Qigong class from Qigong master Xiao presents Ba Duan Jin movements and mindfulness to leave you feeling relaxed and de-stressed. This session caters to a diverse range of people with varying physical conditions and needs.
13:00 – 15:00 | Physiotherapy Mini Assessments | In Person
Book a 30 minute session with our Occupational Health Physiotherpist Lucy for an opportunity to discuss any acute musculoskeletal problems you have experienced within the last couple of weeks that are not part of a long term or chronic issue.
Sessions available include: 13:00 – 13:30 | 13:30 – 14:00 | 14:00 – 14:30 | 14:30 – 15:00
Please note, these taster sessions are mini-assessments to provide advice and tips rather than an in-depth treatment.

14:00 – 15:30 | Pet Therapy | In Person
Come and spend some time with Rannoch – our Pets as Therapy dog. He’s a very good boy and visiting campus to help you de-stress and bring wellbeing to your day.

16:00 – 19:00 | Arts and Crafts Club Social | In Person
The Arts and Crafts club is open to all staff. There are various activities available including papercraft, drawing, painting, mixed media and textile art (knitting, crochet and sewing) and much more. If you are new to arts and crafts and interested in learning more about what you could try, do join us for one of our regular socials on campus. Drop in at any point. Hot drinks and light refreshments will be provided. Also, some craft materials such as colouring and origami sheets will be available. Feel free to bring your own arts and craft projects and food too.

Join us to celebrate the University of Leeds’ acquisition of a beautiful and eclectic group of rare books and manuscripts via the UK’s Acceptance in Lieu programme.
Momentous historical events, dubious legends, and the real-life characters who shaped our world today are just some of the rich variety of stories told in ‘Books and Benefactors’.
